Today,the 27 th of October 2018 at the Embassy of the Lebanese Republic in Bucharest, took place a meeting with Lebanese students in Romania with the support of the Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to Bucharest, Mrs. Rana Mokaddem, Excellency. It was intended that the participants to feel as relaxed and open as possible in order to interact constructively so as to obtain a double result:
– collecting as much information as possible in order to carry out a study that reflects the real situation of the problems encountered by foreign students in Romania by applying as a research tool a questionnaire containing both closed and open questions;
– providing practical solutions to the different situations presented by participants regarding the right of residence on the territory of Romania.
During the activity, there were discussed some issues regarding the right of residence on the territory of Romania, the difficult situations they faced or are currently facing, the LMA Romania specialists offering guidance in solving them.
The event will form the basis of a study on the problems faced by foreign students in Romania. In this study we will analyze the degree of satisfaction with the interaction between the students and the national institutions able to contact them on various issues, the integration of foreign students in the Romanian society during the studies, as well as future perspectives after completion of studies.
